Why am I mentioning his excessive glandular structure?

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته،

الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله وعلى آله وأصحابه ومن تبعهم إلى يوم الدين وبعد

I had made Wudhu successfully and donned my Ihraam for the first time in 5 years. We were in the Meeqaat near Taa’if, where I usually go since we used to come in from Riyadh. Little has changed, except now I notice more how disrespectful and dirty people are. The place was a mess, people threw things every where without a care in the world. Not even the fact that they’re starting their ‘Umrah by polluting the Meeqaat and making life unpleasant for others.

The government built designated showers for those who want to shower, which is not an obligation as they can make wudhu. But everyone wants to shower and will go to any lengths to do so.

There was a fat obese light skinned hairy pakistani guy with some of his like-structured friends near to where I changed into my Ihraam. Why am I mentioning his excessive glandular structure? Well it’s necessary to the story but I thank Allaah that his bulging stomach covered his private parts, because the sirwal (the pants under the thobe) was not doing its job of covering his rear. You see… this man decided to take a shower… except not in the designated showers but in the place we make our Wudhu. In these taps which are very low to the ground.

So he showered underneath these taps and flooded the area… such regard for your fellow Muslims eh? I wanted to go say something to him but his unsightliness kept me away.

Here’s the tough part… “now where are you going to change O foolish fat man?” I thought. Well that didnt stop him… he waltzes into a room with his friend and two towels and the door slams shut… the sign on the door is a skull looking drawing and a large sign saying “DANGER HIGH VOLTAGE”.

SPLASH goes the soaked sirwal as he throws it over the door and water flies in every location. I expected to see blue sparks and glows and smell fried chicken but Allaah had Mercy upon these two fools.

This is common sense, why do people lack it so much? Why are people so inconsiderate? No they didn’t clean up the flooded water so when a little kid runs by he might slip and shatter his teeth. Or causing his ‘awrah to be exposed to tens of people, male and female walking by really not wanting to lose the little breakfast they ate before arriving. Or to endanger himself and the lives of others by walking fully soaked splashing water everywhere inside a High Voltage room which is restricted access.

Allaahul Musta’aan.

  1. So he just got naked and changed his clothes in public? Is that some sort of cultural relic from Hinduism or something?

  2. Alhamdulillaah it was not in public. He went into the room with the electrical cables and changed there.
